My name is Andy Pratt. I’m a certified fitness professional and personal trainer who currently lives in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.

Warrior Built Origins
Witnessing the soaring rates of obesity and the impact our fast-paced, video game generation is having on young people who should be in the prime of their lives is disturbing. They’re sluggish, inactive, unhealthy and way out of shape. Some of my friends were the ones in most need of help! Young guys in their late teens to early 30s living an unhealthy and inactive lifestyle, during what I consider to be their “peak years.”
It seems that most people today are more interested in watching TV and playing video games then being physically active. I mean, heck, you’re more likely to play football on the Xbox then actually getting out on the field with your buddies!
Then it hit me! I knew I wanted to share my passion for fitness and training expertise, so what better way then to package up my Body Transformation expertise into a complete DVD training system! A training DVD and nutritional plan that anyone could follow and see dramatic results. A workout that is challenging, but fun to do. Simple to follow, yet effective. A unique and innovative style of training that was results-producing.
So I’ve pooled together my personal expertise in complete body transformations, my love of boxing, with the conditioning exercises of an MMA fighter, and created a complete 12 week Body Transformation Program that delivers rapid results...and so the Warrior Built Program was born!
The Warrior Built System...

Most importantly, I wanted to create a workout that delivered outstanding results, so that you can follow along with me at home, 3 days a week to get Strong, Lean, and Fit.
My objective was to take an average guy with no exercise experience,
who might be completely inactive, through a 12 week muscle building,
fat burning, physique transformation.
Now, to take this project a step further...
I thought it would be a great idea to take a few such participants through a “real-time” 12 week transformation using the Warrior Built program and to capture their journey on film.
I selected three possible participants...I met with each of them personally and shared the idea of the Warrior Built program. I gave each of them the opportunity to get involved and become the VERY FIRST Warrior Built Team. All three thought it was an awesome idea and agreed to participate.
Now these guys didn’t come to me looking for help. They were not already motivated to get in shape to begin with. They were just three regular guys who I thought could benefit from the Warrior Built Program.
So these three guys became the very FIRST people to complete the Warrior Built program. They went above and beyond successfully completing the program, for a total weight loss of 93.8lbs as a group in just 12 short weeks. They also shredded an incredible 20 inches off their waists.
That’s an Average Weight Loss of 31.3lbs, and 6.7 Inches Off Their Waists!

Let me put that into another perspective, the test subjects using the Warrior Built Program lost an average of over 31 lbs and 6+ inches off their waists in only 12 weeks! Sure, if you have hundreds or even thousands of people using some big name workout program you might have some people losing 30 lbs...or even 40 lbs, but would the average results be as dramatic?!
These guys not only changed their bodies, but they also saw a dramatic increases in their fitness level. In just 12 short weeks they went from “deskbound”, “totally inactive”, “with all physical activities being a struggle” (their own words by the way) to becoming “totally fit”. I’m talking 50+ push-ups!...10+ chin-ups with bodyweight!... and having the endurance to complete a tough MMA class!
You may be thinking: “I don’t know if I can do this...”
I’m telling you, even if you get out of breath going up a flight of stairs, YOU CAN do this! You may be where Colin, Matt or Marc was when they started the program. They were bare bones starting from scratch! Even a slow walk on the treadmill (2.5mph) put one of the guy’s heart rate dangerously high. But because the program is designed to gradually progress your fitness level week after week, your cardio will consistently improve, you will get stronger and the weight will come off!
Before the end of the program, I had a MMA instructor put the guys through a MMA workout, and he wasn’t pulling any punches with them! He started them off with a 5min warm-up that was murder! I know because I did it too! He wanted to show these guys how tough you have to be in this sport...to be “in the club” so to speak.
And you know what? They got through it. Not only the killer warm-up, that was designed to separate the men from the boys, but the whole freaking class!
These guys went from way out of shape...to earning the respect of a 3rd degree black belt in jujitsu, a MMA instructor, and a PRO MMA fighter.
I think there’s something even more impressive then the strength these guys built or the body fat they dropped. What’s most impressive is how much of an impact the Warrior Built Experience had in other areas of their lives.

“Over the past 3 months my life has changed. My body, my attitude, and my feelings about myself have changed dramatically due to what I learned and experienced in the ‘Warrior Built’ program.
I am 18 years old and I have spent most of the past three years in my house, sitting at my computer, lost in the world of video games. This resulted from several things occurring in my life at once in my early teens – moving to a new community, changing schools several times, and being bullied by the people I tried to make friends with at my last high school. I was flabby and waaay out of shape – when I should have been in the prime of my life.
Then Andy Pratt approached me with information about this new program he was starting, and said he was looking for several different types to be in the pilot project. Was I interested? I was nervous but said I was willing to give it a try. It seemed like a big commitment and I wasn’t used to that.
Week one was murder! But you know what; it felt good to be doing something positive. The workouts were tough but fun. The diet was a huge change for me...but the program allows you to ease into it with help from a ‘cheat day’ each week. The recipes make up for a lot of the things you cut out, so after a while you don’t even miss them anymore. Blueberry protein shakes are awesome!
The weeks went by, and the pounds and inches came off...My jeans got way too big – 3 sizes! I looked forward to every workout no matter how challenging. I began to want to do other things too. I began to get in touch with old friends again.

With today’s fast paced society from people’s busy lifestyles it isn’t easy to be healthy and fit without the right plan. I know first hand experience. Before I got involved with personal training I would grab lunch when I could and it usually was from a fast food drive through window! I was lifting weights but that was all and my body weight was nearly 230 lbs and it certainly wasn’t all muscle to put it nicely! I knew something had to change; this was around the time I decided I had enough and was fed up with the way I looked and felt.
At one point in my life I was teased for being so thin. Now I was being made fun of for being heavy and out of shape. I knew I was better then that! I committed myself to getting into the best shape of my life. This was when I decided to compete in my first bodybuilding competition. And as I said earlier not only did I want to share what I learned throughout that journey, but also enable others to experience the satisfaction of becoming their best.
I remember one of my first personal training students, John Pittman. He came to me looking for help weighing close to 500 lbs at the time. He wanted to lose weight and was getting frustrated because he had tried everything and nothing was working. By following the same training and nutrition strategies that I teach in the Warrior Built Program, John lost 172 lbs in just 12 months! He was so overwhelmed with his physique transformation that he later emailed to thank me. In part of his email he said “Andy, God Bless you.” I knew at that moment this was what I wanted to do. I had found my passion.
